DJI has just teased its upcoming FPV drone with the tagline “Above It All, See It All.”

Although the company has not officially revealed the full specifications yet, multiple leaks and industry reports suggest that the DJI Avata 360 could become one of the most innovative drones DJI has ever released.
For FPV pilots, aerial filmmakers, and drone enthusiasts, this drone could fundamentally change how we capture aerial footage.
Here’s everything we currently expect from the Avata 360.
The biggest feature hinted at by the teaser is full 360-degree video capture.
Leaks suggest the drone will include dual image sensors capturing spherical video, allowing pilots to record everything around the drone at once.
Instead of worrying about framing the perfect shot during flight, pilots will be able to:
This approach is already popular with action cameras like the Insta360 series, but bringing it to a cinewhoop-style FPV drone could unlock completely new creative possibilities.
For example, from a single flight you could generate:
All from the same recording.
Rumors suggest the Avata 360 may support 8K 360° HDR video at up to 60fps, which would place it among the most advanced consumer drones in terms of immersive capture.
To achieve this, leaks indicate the drone could use dual 1/1.1-inch sensors capable of high-resolution spherical capture.
This level of resolution is important because 360 footage is typically cropped and reframed during editing, meaning higher resolution ensures the final footage remains sharp.
For drone filmmakers, that means:

One of the most interesting rumored features is a dual shooting mode.
According to leaks, the Avata 360 could include a tiltable camera module, allowing it to switch between:
360 Mode
FPV Mode
This would allow pilots to use the drone as both:
Essentially combining two filming tools into one drone.
While DJI has not confirmed the specs yet, leaks suggest the Avata 360 will retain many features that FPV pilots expect from the Avata lineup.
Possible features include:
Cinewhoop design
4-blade propellers
improved battery
Obstacle sensors
O4 transmission system
Compatibility
These features could make the drone accessible to both beginners and experienced FPV pilots.

Based on leaked bundle pricing, the Avata 360 could be one of DJI’s most affordable new drones in years.
Estimated prices converted to EUR:
| Bundle | Estimated Price |
| DJI Avata 360 Drone Only | €459 |
| DJI Avata 360 Fly More Combo (RC 2) | €939 |
| DJI Avata 360 Motion Fly More Combo (RC Motion 3 + Goggles N3) | €939 |
| DJI Avata 360 Premium Combo (Goggles N3 + RC 2) | €1159 |
| DJI Avata 360 Intelligent Flight Battery |
€79 |
| DJI Avata 360 Replacement Lens Kit – (1pc) | €21 |
| DJI Avata 360 Propellers |
€9 |
Leaks suggest the base drone could start around $499, with a full combo reaching about $1,200, which converts roughly to the Euro estimates above.
If these prices are accurate, DJI may be positioning the Avata 360 as a relatively affordable entry into 360 aerial filmmaking.

Official launch is set top March 2026
DJI had already begun teasing the drone earlier this year, which typically happens before the official launch event.
So the day we have been waiting for finally is near.
For years, FPV pilots have had to focus heavily on camera framing during flight.
The Avata 360 could change that workflow completely.
Instead of worrying about pointing the camera perfectly, pilots could simply focus on flying creatively while the drone records the entire environment.
This opens the door for:
For aerial filmmakers, it could mean one flight producing an entire sequence of shots.
If the leaks are accurate, the DJI Avata 360 could represent one of the biggest innovations in FPV drones in recent years.
By combining:
DJI might be creating a completely new category of drone.
The teaser message “Above It All, See It All” suggests exactly that: total freedom in the air and total control during editing.
And for creators, that’s a powerful combination.
